Job Role: Packing Operator

The role of a Packing Operator is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Packing Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packing dry food products onto pallets or into containers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prior experience in the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is highly valued.
  • Previous work experience with quality checking is advantageous, as you will be expected to ensure high standards are met throughout the production process.
  • You must be physically fit for repetitive and, at times, heavy lifting, and have good physical stamina to keep up with the demands of this role.
  • Experience in a factory setting, particularly with fast-paced packing operations, is essential for success in this position.
  • Steel capped footwear is required for safety purposes.
  • Good English communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to read and write English for production records is crucial for accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Cleanliness and sanitisation of production areas and equipment between product runs are paramount to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Adherence to OH&S policies and procedures is expected at all times.
