Job Opportunity: Senior Community Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage our child, family, and community services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being and resilience of children, families, and communities in the Northern Territory.

The successful candidate will oversee and lead our diverse portfolio of programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery and alignment with our mission and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage our child, family, and community programs, promoting best practice and excellence in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the well-being and resilience of children, families, and communities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including staff, partners, and community members.
  • Mentor and support staff to achieve their full potential and contribute to the organization's success.

This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, community services, psychology, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior management role within the social services sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and reporting requirements.
  • Deep understanding of the social, cultural, and economic issues affecting children, families, and communities in the Northern Territory.
