Culinary Team Member

We are seeking self-motivated and organized individuals to join our vibrant food service team.

As a Culinary Team Member, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen areas while adhering to safety protocols and procedures when using and storing chemicals.

You will work across various outlets and ensure that kitchen appliances and workspaces are ready for operation, upholding our high standards for food preparation.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing equipment such as commercial dishwashers to perform daily cleaning duties.
  • Ensuring an adequate supply of clean crockery for the food & beverage outlets at all times.
  • Performing surface and deep cleans as scheduled, including floors, kitchen appliances, walls, shelving, benches and cold storage areas.
  • Emptying rubbish bins and removal of cardboard waste.
  • Monitoring stock rotation and replenishment of stock levels.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous kitchen experience with skills in kitchen organization.
  • A self-motivated and reliable attitude with a positive approach.
  • A sense of urgency and ability to work quickly and safely.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and late nights.
  • Interest and willingness to assist with food preparation on occasion when required.
  • Good physical dexterity for manual handling tasks.
