Job Title: Support Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled and compassionate support workers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification, with a minimum of 12 months of paid experience in a similar role. They will also have experience working with challenging behaviors, mental health, and neurodiverse support requirements, as well as experience in SIL, private residential, and community-based support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily supports to enable participants to live safely, happily, and securely in their own homes.
  • Cook healthy meals and maintain a clean and hygienic living environment.
  • Assist with personal care activities such as showering, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support participants with medication management, including administering medication as required.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each participant.
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and report any concerns to the supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 12 months of paid experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviors, mental health, and neurodiverse support requirements highly desirable.
  • Experience in SIL, private residential, and community-based support.
  • Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive car insurance.
  • A smartphone and ability to use our client management and rostering system (training provided).
