Job Title: Care and Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Aged Care Team, you will deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence.

The role involves providing personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting etc., medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support in the community.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their dignity and well-being at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care and support to clients
  • Enhance and encourage participation in client's own care
  • Provide personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting etc.
  • Assist with medication, meal preparation, domestic assistance/general housekeeping tasks and social support

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • Relevant care worker experience (minimum 3 months)
  • Experience working in a home care/community setting (highly desirable)
  • Valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Alignment to COVID-19 vaccination policy
