Contract Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-orientated and knowledgeable Contract Specialist to join our organization.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of contract creation, review, and amendments. Responsibilities include drafting, negotiating, and administering procurement contracts in various categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts based on internal and supplier scope of works, variations, deeds of novation, & renewals
  • Identify and mitigate risk
  • Maintain the contract register and provide strong contract administration support
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance

Qualifications:

  • University degree in business, law, or commerce
  • Experience working within the Procurement or Legal Industry
  • Working knowledge of commercial and general legal risks, terminology, and principles (preferably within the procurement sector)
Skills Required
  • Ability to prepare contracts and drive contract management processes to deliver contracts on time and with high levels of accuracy
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate into business outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
