Job Title: Gastroenterology Specialist Physician Consultant
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Specialist Physician Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team at Rockingham Hospital's Surgical and Specialist Care Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist gastroenterology services to patients, promoting patient safety and quality of care, and leading the multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist gastroenterology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Promote patient safety and quality of care through effective leadership and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Supervise and educate Doctors in Training (DiT's), health service medical practitioners, and other health workers in gastroenterology practices.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve national, state, and South Metropolitan Health Service performance standards and targets.
