Consultant Physician

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team providing specialist gastroenterology services to patients. Key responsibilities include leading the team, promoting patient safety and quality of care, and providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for Doctors in Training (DiTs), health service medical practitioners and other health workers.
This role requires strong clinical practice skills and a deep understanding of national, state and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Head of Department and other Consultants to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist gastroenterology services
- Promote patient safety and quality of care
- Provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education for DiTs, health service medical practitioners and other health workers
