As a key player in the department's capital and maintenance programs, this role is responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of construction and maintenance projects across the state-wide built infrastructure portfolio.

The Principal Infrastructure Program Coordinator plays a pivotal part in managing a high-performing team of approximately 8 staff, working closely with external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services to agreed standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver construction and maintenance programs for the department, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.
  • Identify emerging issues, risks, and priorities that may impact project and/or program delivery, responding proactively with strategies to address these impacts.
  • Monitor, analyze, forecast, and report on program performance to ensure the Branch meets its performance targets and delivers its programs as planned.
  • Provide high-level advice to Branch management and other departmental executives on infrastructure program planning and delivery status, expenditure forecasts, risks, and emerging issues.
