Job Opportunity:

A Human Resources Officer is required to manage the college's people and compliance functions. This part-time role at 0.6 FTE has the potential for growth into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, onboard, and offboard employees, including providing quality induction processes
  • Provide assistance and guidance with probation processes, performance development, and employee management
  • Work collaboratively with the facilities manager to offer proactive injury management support
  • Oversee and improve administrative systems and ensure compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Human Resource qualification or equivalent experience, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of injury management and employee practices and systems
  • Sound knowledge of generalist human resource best practices
  • Excellent digital literacy, attention to detail, organizational skills, data entry capabilities, and document processing skills
  • Ability to champion strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and discretionary abilities
