About the Role

CyberCX is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our Security Operations team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of Security Analysts and/or Security Engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality client outcomes and the growth of your career as a cyber security professional.

We are looking for a candidate with a sound and relevant technical background, a passion to learn, and a great attitude. You will have a keen interest in mentoring junior analysts and a strong ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, CyberCX's purpose, values, and agreed processes and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and build high-performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift.
  • Provide end-to-end leadership support for operational staff in their day-to-day workload.
  • Provide personnel and project support with clients, taking the initiative to drive improvement and deliver successful outcomes for customers.
  • Manage rostering of the team to ensure adequate coverage across customer accounts.
  • Actively collaborate across CyberCX, continuously looking for ways to add value and facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across the business.
  • Enhance team effectiveness by taking ownership of team issues and goals, creating a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement.
About You
  • Experience coaching or mentoring others in a high-paced environment.
  • Exposure to IT security operations in a large or complex organisation.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • The ability to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to, CyberCX's purpose, values, and agreed processes and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
