Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Nurse, Interventional Radiology professional to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Staff Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through evidence-based nursing practices and procedures.

Responsibilities include:
  • Completing timely patient assessments, plans, and updates of care based on individual needs
  • Providing direct care and evaluating outcomes, incorporating principles of family-centered care
  • Monitoring and documenting patients' condition and effectiveness of care and interventions
  • Assessing educational needs of patients and significant others considering cultural needs and other special concerns
  • Providing teaching and educational materials to the patient and/or significant others as appropriate
  • Validating and documenting patient and family understanding of teaching
  • Administering prescribed medications in accordance with approved policies and protocols, utilizing barcode scanning
  • Carrying out prescribed treatments in accordance with approved policies, protocols, and educational material procedures
  • Using knowledge of one's own role and the roles of other professions to appropriately assess and address the health care needs of patients and populations served
  • Demonstrating commitment to providing evidence-based practice care by adhering to protocols for the care of patient populations, reporting needed changes in practice supported by evidence, and participating in evaluating patient outcomes using evidence
  • Delegating appropriate components of the nursing care plan to other members of the nursing team
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding patient and family information by promoting professional interdisciplinary communication
  • Respecting Patient Rights and demonstrating behaviors of a Patients' First Philosophy
  • Incorporating the CCAD Professional Practice model and patient safety principles into clinical practice
  • Reporting errors and near-misses
  • Responsible for completing charge capture education and in-service training for their Institute within CCAD, when charges are not captured automatically, the nurse will complete within Epic in real-time, Perioperative Services within 24 business hours

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required
  • Minimum three (3) year curriculum in Nursing from an accredited program is required
  • Associate Degree Nurses from North America with evidence of passing the National exam is required (USA: NCLEX – RN & Canada: Licensing Exam)
  • Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience in an Intervention Radiology setting is required
  • Valid and current national license is required
  • BLS is required from AHA or an equivalent organization, or must be obtained within 3 months of employment
  • ACLS relevant to area of specialty is required, from AHA or an equivalent organization; or must obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Experience with electronic medical record is strongly preferred
  • Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred
