Job Title: Senior Automation Test Specialist

The Client & Role Responsibilities:

Talent International is currently working with a large Australian insurer who are looking for a highly motivated Senior Automation Test Specialist with experience within Insurance Organizations or Documentation projects to join the organisation on an initial 6-month contract role with the view to extend into a long-term position.

Required Skills & Specialisms:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Testing Specialist (MUST HAVE).
  • Expertise in the use of a BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) framework based on Cucumber (MUST HAVE).
  • Knowledge and experience in Automation testing capability (Ruby/Cucumber, Selenium) would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (Java, Ruby, Python etc.)
  • Knowledge and exposure to API testing (SoapUI and Postman) would be a plus.
  • Understanding of context-based and risk-based testing of complex business applications.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, Git. Desirable
  • Experience utilising tools such as JIRA and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Prior experience working in insurance, documents, claims, policy management and billing systems would be highly beneficial.
  • Track record of experience working on complex core enterprise-wide technology platforms.
  • Experienced with coaching and mentoring junior to mid-level testers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
