Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Indigenous Access programs. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

About the Role:
  • Lead and mentor staff across Indigenous Access programs
  • Oversee implementation of aged care sector development workplan
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, community members, and Elders
  • Ensure culturally safe and person-centred services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure services align with community needs and national reform priorities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to build stronger connections, healthier communities, and culturally safe services that honour the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership experience in health or community services
  • Strong understanding of cultural safety principles and their application in healthcare
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with community members, organisations, and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
