Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to disassembly and production processes.
  • Understand complex vehicle systems, technology and OEM repair procedures while performing pre- and post-scan checks.
  • Demonstrate a positive work ethic, deliver high-quality repairs and collaborate effectively with the team.
  • Manage deadlines, detect faults and malfunctions by conducting equipment audits.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently, handle heavy lifting and ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
  • Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred.
  • Willingness to consider third or fourth year Apprentices.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge for accurate diagnosis and repair.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
