As a Merchandise Planning Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving growth within the business by using your analytical and data-driven approach to manage the intake flow into the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the intake flow into the business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales, and minimize risks.
  • Provide weekly summaries of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business.
  • Review sales at style and category level, identifying opportunities and risks, and making recommendations to maximize and mitigate.
  • Complete monthly post-seasonal reviews in line with the critical path.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting as required by the business and across different business units.
  • Use analytics to aid decision-making and shape strategy and key focus areas for the department.
  • Track replenishment and product performance against forecasts to determine areas of opportunity and risks for sales, planning, and merchandising.
  • Develop short-term and long-term category strategies with the Buyer to maximize business trade.
  • Responsible for managing and forecasting core lines based on sales trends.
  • Help maintain a Clear As You Go Strategy to keep stock efficient.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Merchandise Planning role.
  • Experience in Ecommerce is essential.
  • Experience within a fashion retailer is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork focus.
  • Aptitude for numbers and an outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • An energetic, can-do, and positive attitude.
  • Able to manage own priorities, set own work objectives, and proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
