As a Merchandise Planning Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery schedule of all incoming stock to ensure timely receipt and processing.
  • Identify and resolve any intake issues in collaboration with the Merchandise Planning team and update systems accordingly.
  • Process weekly markdowns and re-prices as advised by the planning team.
  • Conduct option plan management and auditing daily to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Run product line cards and forecasting with clear communication to the buying team.
  • Conduct size curve analysis and complete sizing tool updates to optimize sales.
  • Make suggestions for sizing mix changes needed to optimize sales.
  • Proactively contribute to department trade each week, following up on any actions and updating the team.
  • Confidently present analysis in relevant meetings.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis, and data entry as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but raw talent, attitude, and skills are highly valued.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel preferred.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for retail math and analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage a high workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to re-prioritize workload based on business priorities.
  • Strong communication skills to form relationships across the business.
