Software Engineering Leadership Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable features with Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS. You will build APIs and reusable components in a multi-region SaaS environment, collaborate with QA, Product, and Design for customer-focused solutions, improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, and system performance, contribute to evolving our architecture (modular monolith and beyond), champion compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2), accessibility, and localisation, mentor and set a high bar for quality and documentation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver scalable features with Laravel, PHP, React/Next.js, and AWS.
  • Build APIs and reusable components in a multi-region SaaS environment.
  • Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design for customer-focused solutions.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing, and system performance.
  • Contribute to evolving our architecture (modular monolith and beyond).
  • Champion compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2), accessibility, and localisation.
  • Mentor and set a high bar for quality and documentation.
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with front and back end engineering principles.
  • A minimum of 4 years building SaaS products end-to-end, ideally across multiple regions.
  • Strong skills in Laravel (or modern PHP frameworks) plus React/Next.js (or Vue).
  • Experience with ISO/SOC2 standards and secure engineering practices.
  • Knowledge of modular architectures, event-driven systems.
  • Skills in relational databases (Aurora MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Cloud-native experience (AWS, CI/CD, observability).
