Position Overview
  • A level C position is available in a school of nursing, midwifery and social sciences.
  • The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate students with experience engaging with tertiary students and supporting their educational development through multi-model delivery strategies.
  • The candidate will contribute to the teaching effort of the school and maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline.
Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will perform assigned teaching duties with students on and off campus, demonstrating high standards of planning, preparation, presentation and assessment.
  • The candidate will lead and engage with colleagues within the school and across the university to support students and promote the organisation.
  • The candidate will participate in or lead research projects that are important to them, employing hands-on approaches to ensure a deeper connection with students.
Requirements
  • Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD or Professional Doctorate) in a relevant discipline.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a graduate certificate in tertiary teaching/education.
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate university students.
