Disability Support Professional

We're seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our established SIL home in Sydney, supporting up to 10 incredible clients. Our team is committed to providing high-quality care and support.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our values and commitment to excellence. As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualised support to clients to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life
  • Assisting clients with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Building strong relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on client progress and outcomes

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A Certificate III or higher in Disability Work or a related field
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check
  • Australian Driver's License and comprehensive insurance on vehicle
  • NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You and First Aid and CPR certifications
  • An understanding of the principles of person-centred support and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
