About the Role:

Future is a leading financial comparison marketplace and one of the brands that form part of Future PLC, a global multi-platform media company. We're looking for an experienced journalist to join our team as a Senior Writer.

About You:

We're seeking a skilled writer with a strong background in personal finance who can create engaging content for our audience. As a Senior Writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing articles on various financial topics, ensuring accuracy and clarity while maintaining a commercial sensibility.

Your Skills:

  • Flawless written and verbal communication skills.
  • An eye for both newsworthy angles and commercially targeted content.
  • A knack for writing short and succinct digital copy that keeps the reader engaged.
  • A strong understanding of how online content performs in search engines and how to apply analytics to write for audience needs.
  • Top-notch time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and adjust on the fly.
  • Be a team player who can also work autonomously.
  • Degree in Journalism, Communication, or relevant digital experience.

Salary: The estimated salary range for this role is $48,000 - $100,000 AUD. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, working three days from the office and two days from home.
