Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our dynamic team in a unique hotel breakfast restaurant. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and has a love for fresh food and professional kitchen standards.

About the Role:

  • Be part of a passionate team delivering creative and indulgent breakfast experiences using traditional techniques and premium ingredients with a modern twist.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, supporting room service operations and collaborating with an amazing team dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and lead the breakfast shift, including a full buffet breakfast and live omelet station.
  2. Prepare and present food according to Brand Standard guidelines, maintaining high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques.
  3. Interact with guests, ensuring excellent customer service and memorable dining experiences.
  4. Support stock control, including daily monitoring and reporting stock needs to the Head Chef.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas in accordance with Health & Safety and HACCP standards.
  6. Take responsibility for the smooth operation of an assigned kitchen section.
  7. Assist in food preparation for breakfast buffet and function services.
  8. Foster a positive work environment focused on continuous learning and quality improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Must have full Australian working rights.
  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef.
  • Excellent knife skills and a passion for fresh, quality food.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to hygiene, safety standards, and food handling regulations.
