About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and energetic, experienced Room Attendants to join our diverse Housekeeping team at the Novotel Surfers Paradise. As part of our Housekeeping team, you will be responsible for offering a quality customer service experience by maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, guest corridors, and service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Cleaning guests rooms as required, ensuring they meet brand standards
  • Carrying out allocated cleaning duties to achieve brand standards throughout the hotel
  • Transferring dirty linen and removing rubbish and recycling
  • Safe handling and use of chemicals

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and be committed to delivering high levels of customer service. You will have unlimited work rights in Australia and be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience, with hotel cleaning experience highly desirable
  • A can-do positive attitude and service with a smile
  • A keen eye for detail and good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable using a two-way radio
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Flexible in your availability to work on a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and school holidays
  • Understanding of correct chemical usage and manual handling techniques to ensure safe work practices in this physical role
  • MUST HOLD VALID AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS, we are not offering sponsorship
