Cybersecurity experts play a crucial role in supporting Defence capability programs. As trusted partners to Defence, we deliver technical excellence across various domains.
Job Responsibilities:- Develop and implement cybersecurity requirements for complex Defence systems.
- Conduct system security architecture assessments and provide secure design input.
- Perform risk assessments based on the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).
- Support accreditation and certification processes under the Defence Information Assurance Framework (DIAF).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify, document, and mitigate cybersecurity risks throughout the system lifecycle.
- Provide advice on secure configuration, security controls, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to security artefacts like SRMPs, SSPs, and Risk Assessments.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in cybersecurity engineering within the Defence industry or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISM, DSPF, DIAF, and relevant Australian and international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, NIST).
- Experience supporting system design, integration, and security activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders and project teams.
- Australian Citizenship is essential due to security clearance requirements.
- Current AGSVA security clearance (NV1 or above) is desirable.
