Job Overview

  • Oversight of team's on-site activities to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Development and implementation of daily work schedules.
  • Regular site inspections and completion of site audits.
  • Assistance in developing and implementing safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
  • Participation in performance reviews to provide feedback and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Proactive raising of any workplace health and safety issues to relevant stakeholders.
  • Active participation in scheduled toolbox meetings to discuss safety updates, share insights, and address concerns.
  • Conducting regular WHS inspections to identify potential hazards and promptly reporting findings to relevant stakeholders.
">Requirements
  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Mowing experience.
  • Experience supervising local government mowing and open space mowing contracts.
  • Experience overseeing productivity and KPIs across multiple contracts.
  • Valid White Card.
  • Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices.
