About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated clinical pharmacist to join our team at Bankstown Hospital. As a Pharmacist Grade 2, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to our patients, including dispensary duties and promoting safety and quality in drug therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients, including medication management and therapy optimization
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in professional development activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Supervise and assist pharmacy staff and students as needed
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a registered pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy
  • Minimum 12 months experience working as a clinical pharmacist in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to display judgement and independence in problem solving
  • Experience and skills in providing pharmaceutical services to ensure safe use of medicines
