Senior Regulatory Officer

The Senior Regulatory Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of early childhood education and care (ECEC) services by consistently and fairly applying relevant legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines within the context of regulating for quality.

This position entails developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and ratings of ECEC services across Queensland to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience as a regulator or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of ECEC sector regulations.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and ratings or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training in this area.

This is a temporary position available until further notice, unless otherwise determined.
