Senior Planner Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to join our Woodman Point Project team in Perth. As a Senior Planner, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and planning and analysis of project schedule information to manage and maintain the Project Execution Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continue the development of the project schedule to account for engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning sequencing changes.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of schedule deviations and impacts to the project management team to ensure impacts to schedule are highlighted.
  • Produce resource plans including resource profiles, headcount requirement and information to support training and recruitment requirements.
  • Support the development and implementation of the project specific advanced work packaging.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the works and Critical Path impacts.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' multi-discipline project planning experience (EPC).
  • Experience within project execution environment with multi-discipline exposure and background in Oil & Gas and/or Infrastructure projects.
  • Experienced User of Primavera P6 and Advanced skills in the MS office suite of applications and data management.
  • Understands how to apply physical progress and earned value measurement.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering would be advantageous but not essential.
