About the Role
  • We seek a seasoned Mining Engineer to spearhead long-term planning and mine design, driving value optimization and supporting our growth strategy.
  • This role demands technical prowess, strategic vision, and a commitment to sustainable underground operations.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead comprehensive mine planning and design to maximize returns and align with our growth objectives.
  2. Promote technical excellence as the Reserve Competent Person, ensuring accuracy and compliance in ore reserve reporting.
  3. Contribute to project assessments and expansion planning, providing forward-thinking technical insights.
  4. Develop schedules for pricing purposes and evaluate contractor performance.
  5. Apply your expertise in underground operations, particularly long-hole open stoping with paste backfill, to optimize ore recovery.
  6. Foster collaboration across geology, metallurgy, and operations to ensure design alignment with business goals.
  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to the technical team, embedding best-practice planning standards.
Your Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in mining engineering with demonstrated leadership in underground operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • Expertise in long-hole open stoping with paste backfill is essential.
  • Experience as a Competent Person for Ore Reserves (preferably in lithium or similar mineralization styles).
  • Proven involvement in technical studies (PFS/DFS level) is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Deswik mine planning software is required.
