Job Summary

This is a Certified Welding Inspector role where you will perform internal and external inspections to determine if weldments/structures meet acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of weldments and structures to ensure they meet specified standards
  • Verify compliance with applicable codes and specifications
  • Monitor welding processes to ensure they are performed correctly
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • A current American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
  • Additional nondestructive Evaluation Level II or III certifications in line with ASNT TC-1A, NAS-410, or DOD guidance in one of the following methods: Radiography (RT), digital radiography (DR), dye penetrant (PT), visual inspection (VT), computed radiography (CR), phase array (PAUT), ultrasonic (UT), ultrasonic shear wave (UTSW), or magnetic particle (MT)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Working Conditions:

This role requires physical stamina including lifting 25lbs unassisted, bending, stretching, standing for extended periods of time, climbing stairs, reaching, twisting, sitting, and walking.

Security Clearance:

To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, you must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident, refugee under 8 U.S.C. * 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. * 1158.
