About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Maitland Hospital. As a Critical Care Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the treatment and rehabilitation of ventilated patients, developing and implementing early mobility programs to facilitate recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing early mobility programs to facilitate patient recovery
  • Preparing and managing tracheostomy care when required
  • Oversight of high-risk patients transitioning to ward care, ensuring continuity and best practices
  • Providing clinical supervision and guidance to less experienced physiotherapists

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Your leadership and guidance will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere within the team.

Requirements

  • Current Authority to Practice with AHPRA
