Electrical Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to perform electrical work in control cabinets, panel boards, and other related equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring and rewiring of electrical cabinets and components.
  • Run conduit and install electrical hardware or software according to state and local codes.
  • Start up new, used, or modified equipment and create operating instructions as necessary.
  • Assist in layout design and troubleshooting of electrical components.
  • Perform calibrations on electrical components when needed.
  • Program and install PLCs and draw ladder logic diagrams to match such.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with Ladder Logic and programming of PLCs.
  • Prior electrical background required.
  • Journeyman's license.
  • Good working knowledge of PLCs and programming.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and positive attitude.
