The Registered Nurse is a critical member of our healthcare team, delivering high-quality patient care that meets NSW Health values and Western Sydney Local Health District standards.
This role requires the nurse to apply sound judgment, adhering to Australian health regulations while promoting education and a safe environment for patients, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining accurate medical records and following NSW Health guidelines.
- Foster a culture of ongoing learning among staff, patients, and families through workshops and educational initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, prioritizing patient needs and managing competing demands effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, applying professional boundaries in complex situations.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to identify key messages and concerns when interacting with others.
- Recent experience in acute care or an emergency department, with knowledge of risk management, safety, and quality principles.
