Job Opportunity: Early Learning Centre Administrator

Overview

This role is part of a new government-owned early learning and childcare centre, which will provide long day care and Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten. The centre will eventually transition to include Pre-Prep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the centre for opening by working closely with the central office.
  • Provide information and support to families regarding enrolment, orientation, and general operations of the centre.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, colleagues, suppliers, and the central team.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Data entry into the Child Care Management System, payroll systems, and reporting.
  • Process payments and monitor centre security.
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all inquiries.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required.

Capabilities:

  • Administration: Performs day-to-day administrative tasks, including enrolment processing and support, record keeping, inventory management, and staff onboarding.
  • Compliance and Child Safety: Operates according to National Quality Standards (NQS), Child Protection and Child Safe Standards, and approved Frameworks.
