Spray Painter Job Opportunity

Are you a skilled trade professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role in the collision repair industry? We are seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our team to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.

**Job Description:**

\
\

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Spray Painter to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to colour match and paint vehicles, using your technical skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results. You will also be responsible for preparing, priming, and painting vehicles as per Job Sheet requirements, following paint supplier’s process.

\

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • \
  • Colour mix and match vehicle after vehicle has been prepared and is scheduled for painting.\
  • Build and maintain colour library.\
  • Prep, prime and paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier’s process.\
  • Buff and denib vehicle.\
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention.\
  • Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted for.\
  • Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager.\
  • Clean work bay and workshop areas.\
  • Coach apprentices when required.\

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • \
  • To be a qualified Trade Qualified Spray Painter.\
  • To have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Trade Qualified Spray Painter.\
  • To have strong commitment to work in a safe manner.\
  • To have excellent communication skills.\
  • To have high attention to detail.\
  • To be able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.\
  • To be able to meet strict deadlines.\
  • To be reliable, punctual & hardworking.\
  • To own tools to fulfil the role.\
