Due to continued growth and new project commencements, we are seeking hardworking and driven Apprentice Painters to join our Wollongong team. This is a fantastic opportunity for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year Apprentice Painters.

At Higgins, we are passionate about career progression and invest heavily in developing our people. Starting a career in painting can open many doors; many of our employees began as Painters and have progressed to roles in Estimating, Sales, Operations, and Management.

Our projects include high-rise buildings, schools, retirement villages, and more, providing you with the opportunity to learn all facets of painting across different site types.

Skills and Experience
  1. Completing a Certificate 3 in Painting and Decorating, or a keen interest to start the course
  2. Be driven to succeed and demonstrate a willingness to learn
  3. A motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
  4. Value teamwork, be curious, and ask questions
  5. Follow directions with excellent attention to detail
  6. Listen, take feedback, and understand customer requirements
  7. Demonstrate a commitment to safety in the workplace
