Employment Consultant

Are you driven by a passion to empower individuals with disabilities to lead independent lives? As an Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting job seekers to achieve their career goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of others. You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and job seekers, to deliver tailored employment solutions.

  • Identify and secure employment opportunities for job seekers with local employers
  • Support job seekers to identify skills to become job ready
  • Deliver high-quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements
  • Enhance job seekers' employability through training and support service referrals
  • Develop personalized job plans for clear employment pathways
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
Key Responsibilities:

As an Employment Consultant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing ongoing support to job seekers to achieve their employment goals
  • Collaborating with employers to identify and secure employment opportunities
  • Developing and implementing individualized job plans to meet the unique needs of job seekers
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local employers and community groups to enhance job seeker outcomes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • A MyGovID (Standard level)
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work full-time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
