Delicatessen Manager

As a retail leader, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives every day.

The Delicatessen Manager will be responsible for leading the deli department and ensuring it meets sales targets and cost control requirements. You will lead by example and take pride in contributing to store presentation, customer experience, and team member engagement.

  • Previous experience working in fast-paced customer-facing environments is essential.
  • Leadership experience is necessary to coach and develop your team to meet sales targets and company standards.
  • Maintaining high department standards, including stock monitoring, rotation routines, waste and quality control.
  • Driving process simplification while adhering to strict audit, food safety, and compliance standards.
  • Developing a one-team culture that prioritises team member health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and creating outstanding shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the deli department to meet sales targets and cost control requirements.

- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes collaboration and communication.

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including food safety and compliance standards.
