About the OpportunityWe are seeking highly skilled Laboratory Specialists to work at our Wesley laboratory or our Ipswich laboratory. These laboratories are based on the forefront of patient care, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference.
The successful candidates will be responsible for performing medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and other disorders.
- Performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques;
- Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures;
- Complying with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace; and
- Satisfying the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels.
Our ideal candidates will be degree-qualified in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar degree which included blood bank and haematology related subjects. They will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as an effective team member. The successful candidate will also have well-developed organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise their workload and work accurately and efficiently.
About the BenefitsSullivan Nicolaides Pathology offers a competitive salary (around $70,000 - $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications) plus super, overtime and various permanent employee benefits:
