About the Role

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Solutions Expert to join our team in New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for leading generator grid connections through various stages of the connection process, including connection agreement, power-on, and testing.

As a key member of our Power Plant Solution department, you will work closely with other engineering professionals across the region to deliver comprehensive and compliant grid solutions. Your technical expertise and strong analytical skills will enable you to interpret simulation study performance and apply it to demonstrate compliance with relevant performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead generator grid connections through various stages of the connection process, including connection agreement, power-on, and testing.
  • Interpret simulation study performance and apply it to demonstrate compliance with relevant performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement grid solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical-quality processes and methodologies, including review procedures and checklists.
  • Represent Vestas in relevant working groups and committees.
