Field Service Fitter Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Fitter to join our team based out of Cavan. As a Field Service Fitter, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support on Hitachi equipment, including diagnostics, repair and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance.
  2. Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base.
  3. Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork.
  4. Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues.
  • OEM or earthmoving equipment experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette.
  • An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures.
