Due to a growing volume of awarded work, our team is expanding and seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design aspects of mineral processing projects.

This key role suits an experienced technical leader with a successful track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and enabling effective communication across diverse stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Manage conceptual design and detailed engineering for Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of project engineering and design.
  • Collaborate with Functional Managers to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies with a focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience with discipline engineering in a mineral processing environment with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
  • Success in managing engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedules.
  • Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
