About the Role
Our organization is seeking a skilled Horticulturist to oversee garden maintenance across multiple sites, managing high-quality green spaces and leading a team of gardeners. The ideal candidate will have strong background in horticultural management, excellent leadership skills, and ability to manage jobs, staff, timelines, audits, efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage garden maintenance operations across multiple sites
- Lead and train gardening teams
- Ensure safe, on-time, and high-standard completion of jobs
- IDentify areas for improvement and assist clients achieve best results
- Develop work quotes and manage client expectations
- Conduct regular site audits
- Built strong relationships with clients, councils, and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens
- At least 5 years experience in similar role
- Strong team leadership skills
- Able to manage jobs, staff, timelines, audits efficiently
- Confident in dealing with clients, crews, and stakeholders
- Keen eye for detail and practical approach to problem-solving
- Safety-conscious and committed to team safety
