About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Environmental Planner or Scientist to lead and manage environmental impact assessments and planning projects for major infrastructure in the energy sector. As a key member of our Melbourne team, you will be responsible for:

  • Project Leadership: Scope, plan, manage, and execute environmental assessment and management projects
  • Team Empowerment: Lead and mentor project teams
  • Project Management: Effectively manage project budgets and timelines
  • Quality Assurance: Focus on delivering high-quality project outcomes
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships

About You

To be successful in this role, you will require qualifications in environmental science, planning, or a related degree discipline, with 10+ years of experience in environmental impact assessment or planning. Strong knowledge of environmental and planning legislation, as well as excellent client relationship management abilities, are essential.
