Job Opportunity: Swimming Instructor

Job Description:

  • Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style required to teach effective swimming and water safety skills to grow our swim program.
  • Must be empathetic to the needs of classes, working mornings, evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming and water safety to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for students of varying skill levels.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) Certificate.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent).
  • National Police Check.
  • Current SWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.

Excellent customer service skills are essential to ensure that swimmers gain maximum benefit and enjoyment from our services.
