The APS is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Officer to join our team in the Directorate of Logistics Systems, Strategy and Assurance (DLSSA). As a Logistics Officer, you will be accountable for performing and achieving complex data management and risk analytics work within an integrated workforce.
You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and Defence's mission and policy requirements. This will involve exercising initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed data management and administration technical, professional, and policy advice in relation to complex work.
- Contribute to strategic planning, program, and project management, and policy development.
- Liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex or sensitive issues, identifying, anticipating, and responding to their needs and expectations.

The DLSSA is a dynamic and agile team located in Canberra, comprising a blended APS, ADF, and contractor workforce with deep subject matter expertise and specialist skills.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A keen eye for detail and ability to work with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders.
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of logistics systems and business transformation initiatives.
- The ability to manage priorities and needs of customers to meet and exceed their expectations in a fluid environment.
