About the Role:
The CEO, Dance and Cheer will be responsible for developing a strategic plan to grow and expand the dance and cheer division within our organisation. This role involves full accountability for the growth, operations, and financial outcomes of the business. Key objectives include accelerating growth by fostering strong relationships and connections to the industry and governing bodies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver a strategic plan for successful operations in the dance and cheer sector across AU/NZ.
  • Develop and deliver annual financial budgeted results.
  • Operate a portfolio of dance and cheer operations venues to deliver strategic plans.
  • Expand our network of dance and cheer venues through acquisitions, mergers or establishing new greenfield locations.
  • Identify new initiatives and business opportunities for the purpose of sustainable and feasible growth in the dance and cheer sector.
  • Drive a high performance culture by attracting and retaining a team to effectively manage venues in the dance and cheer portfolio.
  • Maximise business growth and results.
  • Identify and address performance gaps in operating standards.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the dance or cheer industry.
  • Significant experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing successful business strategies.
  • Participated in business development, merger, or acquisition skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fantastic leadership and coaching abilities.
  • A champion for change.
  • A passion for the role, the team, and participants.
