Your Role

As a Warehouse Production Assistant, you will be working in a Return & Earn warehouse in Penrith on a casual basis. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. On-the-job training in using specialised equipment will be provided.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers
  • Use a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers
  • Operate a point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions
  • Assist in other activities, such as housekeeping and maintenance of warehouse equipment
You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Experience in using forklifts and a current valid Forklift Licence
  • Experience working within a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Capacity to perform manual/physical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently
  • Thorough understanding of work, health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
