Your Role

As a CDS Warehouse Production Hand, you will be working in a Return & Earn warehouse in Penrith on a casual basis. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers. On-the-job training in using specialised equipment will be provided. Your excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members are essential for this role. A current Forklift Licence is required (Counter Balance).

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Operate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers
  • Use a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers
  • Operate a point of sale system for accurate sales and refund transactions
  • Assist in other activities, including housekeeping, maintenance of warehouse equipment, and reporting faulty equipment needing repair
You Will Need
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service
  • Experience in using forklifts and a current valid Forklift Licence
  • Experience working within a warehouse and/or production environment
  • Capacity to perform manual/physical tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and independently
  • Thorough understanding of work, health, and safety requirements within a warehouse environment
