About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Registrar to join our dynamic team at SA Health. As an Emergency Medicine Registrar, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on teaching and learning of emergency medicine knowledge, practical skills, and non-technical skills.
Job Overview
The Limestone Coast Local Health Network provides a wide range of health care services to residents within the region. Our hospital is located halfway between Adelaide and Melbourne, offering a relaxed and affordable lifestyle. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, effective, and efficient emergency care to a wide variety of patients.
- Perform a wide range of procedures from reducing simple dislocations to providing intensive airway and circulatory support.
- Provide leadership commensurate to your level of training, including TS4 responsibilities of morbidity and mortality meetings, delivery of education sessions, clinical review mechanisms, and quality improvement processes.
Requirements
- Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- General registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Enrolled in, or demonstrate an intent to enrol in the ACEM, RACGP-RG (ED), or ACRRM (ED AST) training programs.
- Demonstrating experience appropriate to training program/stage in the management of paediatric and adult emergencies.

Remuneration
The estimated salary for this role is $123,545 - $194,848 per annum, based on the indicative total remuneration package including award salary, professional development, superannuation, and leave loading.
